Post Valentine's Day (02.15.2006)

For Valentine's Day, we decided we were going to make a pizza. It was really fun making the pizza dough from scratch. When the dough was rising, we took the kids to the store to pick out their toppings which ended up being cheese, more cheese and pepperoni. When we came back, Michael took the dough out, and the kids began to knead the dough.

Once the dough was kneaded, it was pressed into a circle shape. Sauce was added, then cheese, and finally the pepperoni. When Michael attempted to take it off and put it on the baking stone, the pizza would not come off. So, we brilliantly decided to fold it over and make a huge calzone instead. Do you know what? It was PERFECT!
